This programme is designed to provide young persons with the opportunity to acquire work experience in order to develop the necessary skills and attitudes for their entry or re-entry into the world of work.
In addition, the programme is expected to develop a cadre of skilled persons from whom employers can source workers who match their organization’s needs.
Training providers receive benefits through the OJT Programme by accessing a ready source of trained/skilled persons from which to meet their organizational needs, while being reimbursed on 50% of the approved stipend rate.
